The researches include:the ultraviolet fluorescence detection research on 52 ivory, and other similar material, alternatives, established appropriate technical standards; introduced Image J software into measure the outer Schrege angles of cross-section of 20 mammoth ivories and 20 modern ivories to do the Schrege structural verifying research, and established appropriate technical standard; brought in molecular biology to further solve the problem of the identification ivory and its similar material.
