Researches on desulfurization and denitrification technologies and multi-pollutants control technology in flue gas by ozone are introduced in this paper,including their developments and applications in environmental pollutants control. The mechanism of ozone with pollutants is analyzed. Experiments on the removal of SO2 and NOx in gas phase were carried out to learn about the effects of varing fators on the experimental results. The removal efficiency of SO2 and NOx can reach 100% and 93% in the best experimental condition. Moreover,SO2 and NOx were oxidized by ozone in deionized water and Ca(NO3)2 solution, respectively. The best experimental conditions for removal of SO2 and NOx were obtained through factor-experiments. The result shows that Ca(NO3)2 solution can assist the oxidization of SO2 and NOx by O3 to reduce the consumption of ozone. The products resulting from the reactions are also analyzed in the paper to make sure the matters are in accordance with the mass conservation law. The article can provide reference for the development of the removal of SO2 and NOx from flue gas and its industrial applications.
