Several polyether and curing catalysts were synthesized and the curing catalytic effect in polyurethane system was studied in this dissertation.3,3-Bis(chloromethyl)oxetane (BCMO) was synthesized by using pentaerythritol as raw material and by controlling the reaction condition, such as mole ratio of thionyl chloride, the charging order, steam distillation, vacuum distillation, and so on. The obtained monomer can be used directly for cationic ring-opening co-polymerization. Using BCMO and THF as raw materials, boron trifluoride diethyl ether (BF3.EtO2) as catalyst, 1,4-succinic dialcohol as initiator agent, ring-opening co-polymerization was finished to give hydroxyl-terminated poly-epichlorohydrin ether. The effect of all the processing parameters, such as catalyst, initiator and temperature, on the BCMO/THF co-polymer has been researched. Treatment the BCMO/THF co-polyether with excess NaN3-propanol in polar solvent can obtain the azidopolyether.Hydroxyl-terminated chloromethylpolyether was synthesized using epichlorohydrin as material, and boron trifluoride diethyl ether (BF3.EtO2) as catalyst initiated by 1,4– butanediol via cationic ring-opening polymerization. Also, treatment the intermediate with NaN3 can obtain another kind of monoazidopolyether.Using seven different substituted chlorobenzene as ram materials, seven bismuth complexes, tris(3-methoxy-phenyl)bismuth, tris(4-methyl-phenyl)bismuth, tris(3-butoxy-phenyl)bismuth, tris(3-nitrophenyl) bismuth, tris(4-nitrophenyl)bismuth, tris(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)bismuth and tris(3-ethoxy-phenyl)bismuth, were synthesized by Grignard reaction and metal transfer method with bismuth trichloride. These complexes have not been synthesized but tris(3-ethoxy-phenyl)bismuth (TEPB), and the structures were characterized by 1H NMR, FT-IR and MS. The curing catalytic effects of all the bismuth complexes on polyurethane systems were studied by DTA tech. The results showed that all the bismuth complexes have certain curing effect in curing polyurethane systems. From the DTA curve of polyurethane system added tris-(4-nitrophenyl)bismuth as curing catalyst, we can know that, this complex showed the best catalytic effect with curing exothermic peak temperature at 119.2℃. The performance was equivalent to the room-temperature curing catalyst TEPB. |
