Coal is one of most important energies in China As a by-product of coal, gas (namely, coal-bed gas) is one of the main reasons causing coal accidents which is the biggest obstacles to realize safety in production. However, Gas is also a kind of non-renewable clean energy. Therefore, accurate detection for the original content of the gas to prevent the gas accidents and to exploit and utilize the gas is necessary.This project comes from research of Shaanxi Coal Institute. Based on original measuring method and practical working condition, an auto-servo measuring system using differential PI algorithm to control step-motor is adopted to automatically and precisely measure the original content of the gas.In this thesis, through analyzing demands of measurement precision, measurement system model is constructed, measurement adjustment mechanism is designed, hardware and software platforms are established. After researching common reference power supply, by adopting the method using differential circuit to generate reference voltage, measurement precision is promoted. This method is also valuable for improving precision of digital precision measurement system. Finally, the entire system is tested. The result indicates that the measurement results completely meet the measurement requirements.After analysis and study on measurement methods of the original content of the gas, the automatic adjustment measuring system is set. It has reference significance to other gas or liquid accurate measurement.
