| In the multi-color overprinting process, Because of the tension between the plate cylinder changes, the sliding of rails and rollers, the printing unit affected by the hot and cold heat exchanger and other reasons, will cause the printing material change position, this cause the printing material deviation the overprint position. This deviation was uncertainty, may be large or small,It does a great impact on the quality of printed materials. Therefore, an automatic registering control system is necessary.This paper presents a reasonable control system and studies the control system according to the work principle and the characters of the register control system for the web-fed gravure press.The main contents and innovations are as follows:1. Analysis all parts of Gravure printing equipment.2.Analysis the characteristic of the gravure automatic register control, design a microcontroller-based automatic register controller.3.Analysis the operating mode of the gravure printing equipment, and design a PID controller with threshold value.4.Design a control system with two directions:circumferential and axial automatic register control to replace the traditional single automatic register control system, it has a better quasi-precision.5.Automatic register control system hardware design, system hardware include the power supply system, automatic register control circuit board, inverter, three phase alternating current motor and so on.6.Simulation experimental design,use the microcontroller to simulate the pulse signal of photoelectric eyes and incremental photoelectric encoder to test the automatic register control system. The experimental results indicate that the system can detect the overprint error in designed printing speed, system error was in acceptable range. It can adapt to various types of gravure printing machine, and cost much lower, and it was broad application prospects. |
