The Study On Octahydro-pyrrolo-pyrroles Synthesis

Octahydro-pyrrolo-pyrroles and its derivatives are attractive application approach for pharmaceutical chemistry and organic synthesis. This project has focused the modified synthetic methods of three kinds of pyrrolo-pyrroles derivatives which have been described in this dissertation, and we have improved the synthesis route and the reaction yield and reduced the reaction defficulty. We have completed three synthetic routes of pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyrroles by using simply amino acid as starting material. Synthesis of pyrrolo[3,4-b]pyrroles from alkenyl aldehyde and pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrroles from N-[(trimethylsilyl)methyl] amino ethers have been accomplished in good yield by the intramolecular azomethine ylide cycloaddition reactions.
