| In order to control SO2 emission and protect environment, China started to construct flue gas desulfurization projects in large-scale power plants step by step in the 1990s. However, the experience of large-scale flue gas desulfurization is insufficient, so comprehensive investigation on flue gas desulfurization is needed to put it into effect.In this paper, flue gas desulfurization system optimization and selection of key problems were mainly investigated. A feasible flue gas desulfurization scheme was formed and applied successfully in Beilun power plant 5X600MW units. As a result, the cost was reduced, meanwhile, the system reliability and local ambient air quality were improved.After being proved and optimized by real project experience, the research achievements in this paper can be applied in subsequent similar domestic projects, which could not only save a large number of investment, but also accelerate the subsequent project construction progress. In one word, it will make a great contribution to Chinese electric power construction and environmental protection. |
