TiO2 was considered as one of the most promising catalysts for its good chemical stability, abrasion resistance, non-toxic, low cost, high catalytic properties and excellent antibacterial property.TiO2 was modified by vari-ous means to improve its photocatalytic activity and antibacterial property, TiO2 loaded to the ideal catalyst support or doped with heavy metalions were considered the effective means.Using Attapulgite and polyaniline as the carriers and silver ion as a TiO2 dopant,attapulgite/TiO2 and attapulgite/TiO2-Ag nanocomposites were pre-pared by sol-gel method. Simultaneously PANI/TiO2-Ag nano-fiber com-posite material was prepared by in-situ polymerization method. Related photocatalytic activity and antibacterial property of composite materials were studied, and the influencing factors on the properties were discussed. The main research results as following:(1)Attapulgite/TiO2-Ag nanocomposites were prepared by sol-gel met-hods, and the structure was characterized by the detection technologies such as XRD, SEM, TEM, FT-IR. The effects of amounts, size of attapulgites, light conditions, aging time, calcination temperature and Ag content on antibacterial property of Attapulgite/TiO2-Ag nanocomposites were re-searched.(2)Using attapulgite as a carrier, attapulgite/TiO2 composite photo-catalyst was prepared by sol-gel methods, and the composite material was characterized by the scanning electron telescope (SEM) and FI-IR. Its photocatalytic activity was evaluated in the process of photocatalytic deg-radation to phenhol. The effects of size amount of attapulgites,UV on the result of photocalytic degradation were studied.(3) TiO2/Ag nanocomposite materials with different Ag doped contents were prepared by hydrothermal treatment, and then PANI/TiO2-Ag fibular nanocomposites were synthesized via in-situ polymerization. The effects of light source, amount of Ag, types of bacterias on antibacterial property of PANI/TiO2-Ag were studied.
