Abstract/Summary:
Inorganic microporous materials have become very sought-after because of their pore architectures, so they have been application in catalysis, adsorption , separation and so on. In recent years, the fabrication of the new materials with the pore architectures is one of the important section. The first well-known molecular with microporous architectures is the aluminosilicates zeolites. By now, the synthesis of sulphate metal with open architectures have been the focus of much scientific research to their interesting architectures, composition and their properties, so people have attracted intensive interest in the synthesis of the materials with micropore architectures. As an important class of inorganic open-framework compounds, metal sulfates exhibit rich compositional and structural diversity. Of these, transition metal sulfates are of additional interest because of their novel potential catalytic and magnetic properties. Up to date, a very wide range of the transition metal elements in the periodic table have been incorporated into metal sulfate framework through hydrothermal routes, for example, scandium , vanadium , cobalt , nickel , copper and zinc .In this article, we use the hydro/solvothermal method to synthesize three compounds, they are the sulphate compounds of copper(1), ferric(3) and the metal-organic framework of copper(2). We introducedγ- methylpyridine, Isonicotinic acid and 1,2-ethylenediamine as the template or structural directing agent. Our main work is as follow:(C2H8N)2[Cu4(μ4-O)(SO4)4(γ-Mepy)4] (1) was synthesized by using theγ-methylpyridine as template, and it is based on tetranuclear copper (II) building blocks is the monomer.[Cu(isonicH)2]·(DMF) (2) which has the microporous is used the isonicotinic acid as template, the copper molecules interact with isonicotinic acid is form of the 3D open-framework ,the DMF molecules are in the micropore.1D polymer chain [C2H10N2][Fe(SO4)2(OH)]·H2O(3) is used the 1,2-ethylenediamine as template . A three-dimensional network structure is built via hydrogen bonds between 1D polymer chain and 1,2-ethylenediamine molecules.
