As a kind of industrial flue gas purification equipment, electrostatic precipitator had found wide application in atmospheric pollution industries since a long time ago. However, when the surface of the electricity precipitator deposited too thicker dust, the breakdown voltage would become lower, the corona current would be decreased, and the effective driving speed of the dust would decrease significantly, so that the performance of electrical precipitator will be seriously affected. Therefore, to ensure the EPS operating effectively, the dust that adheres on the electrode surface must be removed effectively and timely, and repeated raising dust must also be prevented. There are some drawbacks to vibration cleaning system used in current heat-engine plant. In order to improve the vibration cleaning effect of ESP and increase the work efficiency of ESP, this paper analyses, compares and proofs some vibration control systems, then combines the advantages of top and side sections of vibration technology. This paper designed a composite type vibrating control subsystem. The core development of this subsystem was based on programmable controller. Through digital communicating access method, this control subsystem made up an auto monitoring system of vibration cleaning process in heat-engine plant. The actual application of composite type vibration cleaning control technology in heat-engine plant also been summarized in this paper. The result of application showed that the composite type power-reduced vibrating technology was very effective when used in high specific resistance and high viscosity dust cleaning situation. And the effect of dust cleaning is not susceptible to different kind of coal, which has a better adaptability.
