ABS is a kind of thermoplastic engineering materials, widely applied in electrical industry, light industry, automobile industry and pipe industry. But ABS is inflammable and insecure. So how to improve the flame retardancy of ABS is an important issue.Posphazene materials are applied widely for their special structure. And the Cl on P can be substituted with organic groups. So posphazene can be used as environmental friendly flame retardant, and if it used in ABS, it can not only improve the flame retardancy of ABS, but keep the other performance of ABS.ThE paper includes four parts:Preparation of HCCP; Ring-open polymerization; Substitution Reaction of HCCP and polydichlorophosphazene; Thermogravimetric Analysis of ABS dopped with posphazene.The first section, the peparation of HCCP by method of acid binding agent and composite catalyst were studied. At the same time, the ralationship of the two methods have been discussed. The influences of the varieties and dosages of catalyst, the particle size and the molratio of raw materials on the yield and quality of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene were investigated. By means of FTIR, XRD, melting point, etc, the results have showed that an novel synthesis method of hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene was offered. This section discussed the ralationship of the two method.The second section is about Ring-open polymerization of HCCP. The reaction time and temperature were investigated, and polydichlorophosphazene were synthesized under 270℃,4h and 250℃,10h.The third section, HACP(hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene), PDAP[polyd (2-hydroxyethyl acrylate) phosphazene], PDEP(polydethoxyphosphazene) were investigated. The Preparation Process of phosphazene Substituted by 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate were improved.The fourth section, the thermo gravimetry of ABS dopped with phosphazene was analyzed, and the weight loss temperatures of the mixtures were all increased.Finally, according to the above researching works, the ring-open polymerization to improve the yield and molecular weight of polyphosphazenes and the mixture unigormity should have been further researched.
