Microbial enhanced oil recovery (MEOR) is a high technology in current science and technology field. Only 30%-40% of crude oil can be taken from underground reservoirs by first and secondary oil recovery, as well as the majority of crude oil stranded on the ground, it's the must-be way for tertiary oil recovery to improve the oil recovery rate. MEOR is a new technology using micro-organisms to improve crude oil production, enhanced oil recovery .It is seen as as the forth drive technique following the traditional thermal recovery, chemical flooding, gas flooding. In recent years, this technology is hot. MEOR will certainly show its great energy and brilliant prospects.In this paper, the application of MEOR in jin-45 block is researched. A set of methods of basic research and evaluation and analysis is formed by laboratory and practice testing. The adaptability conditions of different MEOR technical measures were determined. The test showed that this method is suitable for the reservoir condiation of jin-45 block. From the construction side, microbial huff and puff and microbial fracture method is a simple and effective measure.MEOR is useful to increase oil production, solve these problems(poor stimulation effect,short cycle, low oil/steam ratio oil) effectively. MEOR has great meaning to increase oil production and heavy oil reservoirs development, good social and economic benefits will be achieved.
