| It is a big hidden danger of the existence of damages of composite for the security of component. Traditional analysis methods have limitations, because of complex damage models of composite material and irreversible damage processes, which make the analysis of mater trouble. Numerical simulation method is a new engineering analysis method with the development of computer technology, having the characteristics of economy, repeatable process, controltablility, and it has a very wide application prospect on failure analysis and crack propagation, so it has practical significance for simulating and analyzing failure of composite material by using finite element analysis(FEA).In this paper, based on the mechanics of composite material, taking fiber reinforced plasic as a study object, three kinds of single direction lamina was studyed by simulating damage process of specimen under tensile loading. Then, under laboratory conditions, fracture failure process of FRP lamina was study and damage and fracture situation was analyzed FRP lamina by using theory of fiber reinforced. At last, damage characteristics of FRP composite was estimated by combining simulation of FEA and conclusion of experiment analysis results. Study results provide an application-base for using FEA method to simulate and analyze damage process of FRP under external force.In addition, application of ANSYS finite element software for simulating fracture process of composite under external force.Analyzed datas, extracted chaaracteristic paraneter of stress field near crack region, and studied basic theories of matrix fracture and interface fracture. By using finite element method to simulating matrix fracture and interface fracture between fiber and matrix, local damage features of composite material were extracted, and strain energy release rate and the corresponding stress intensity factor in different stages of fracture were calculated, and finally, simulation results were compared to tensile test results in order to verify the correctness of results.According to the characteristic of composite material, comprehensive application of theoretical methods, experimental methods, finite element numerical simulation method, and acoustic emission technique for analyzing damage mode and degree of FRP composite material is a good way on achieving the real damage situation of FRP composite material. |
