In the past decade, dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs) and their derivatives have attracted considerable interest because they exhibit promising activities as calcium channel blockers, antihypertensive agents. Many dihydroprimidinones'structure was altered and other heterocylic compounds were synthesized from dihydro-primidinones. This thesis was mainly focused on the study of DHPMs derivatizing reaction. It consists of four parts:In chapter 1, basic knowledge of dihydroprimidinones and dihydroprimidines was reviewed, in terms of the activities, precursors preparation and derivatizing reaction of dihydroprimidinones in detail.In chapter 2, Relate reaction and application of organic azides were introduced.In chapter 3,4-Substituted dihydropyriminones and dihydropyrimindines were aerobic oxidized to the corresponding pyrimidinones and pyrimidines, respectively, in high yields by molecular oxygen in the presence of catalytic amount of N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) and Co(OAc)2 under a mild and environmental benign conditionIn chapter 4, Photochemical or thermal reactions of 4-(2-azdiophenyl)-3,4-dihyro-pyrimidinones were introduced.
