PS Plate has been popularized and developed rapidly in the publishing industry for its various advantages such as high resolving power, plump lattice point emersion, rich arrangement, controllable ink stick balance and high pressrun.PS Plate could be tested online based on study of defect testing system design. the theoretical analysis, Through theoretical analysis, Multi-linear CCD stitching project is proposed. Two-valued digitalized RAM video frequency signal, PCI high-speed image collecting card should be used to realize the real time testing procession line.The appropriate illuminating light-source is determined. The optical system is designed in the testing system to make the defect visible. During the testing process, the transverse aberration should be controlled strictly to avoid distortion of image and effect the testing precision. It is shown that the design result could meet the design requirements perfectly.The supporting and adjusting structure of devices are designed to acquire higher stability and convenience. Finally the testing error is analyzed to prove that this testing system could meet 0.1mm testing precision of PS Plate defect.
