With automobile market competition gradually fierce, As well as for security, economy and environmental protection considerations, the light weighting of automobile body were evolve as the one of trend of the industrial development. Tailor-welded blanks forming technology is one kind of new process technology for this demand. Become in recent years, industry and the academic study of one of the major hot spots, has been wide attention. Sheet metal bending is widely used in the industry field. The most prominent problem in bending process of sheet metal is that it is difficult to control bending springback accurately. especially complex bending of tailor-welded blanks. The springback of tailor-welded blanks bending not only with the sheet metal and the die geometric parameters, but also with differences in the properties of two blanks, material changes of heat-affected zone and weld, the movement of weld line. The forming process of metal deformation behavior were more complex, so that the springback analysis of tailor-welded blanks, control more difficult. Therefore, the study of tailor-welded blanks bending and springback is benefit to know TWBs stamping features and formulate stamping process.With the rapid development of computer technology and FEM theory, FEM have been popularly used in the analysis of sheet metal forming .This method can be more accurate study of material properties, intensity ratio on the impact of TWBs springback and weld line movement. In this paper, TWB bending problem, the use of FEM software ANSYS / LS-DYNA and ETA-DYNAFORM on the forming process and springback is analyzed.In this paper, the different types of tailor-welded blanks of V-bending and cap shape bending process and springback were analysised by use the FEM software. Analysis focused on the different sheet metal and weld modeling method for forming and springback, choose the best model. At the same time using this model, of central, longitudinal weld blank at different parameters on the forming and springback analysis of the effects, has obtained the influence rule to the bending forming characteristics and springback. Analysis the effects of blank holder force in cap-bending of central weld blank, Proposed restrictions on movement and elimination of springback weld method. Proposed the method to limit weld line move and eliminate springback.
