In this paper, the author makes a general analysis to the Green lubricant and describes the development status and trend of the environmental lubricants at home and abroad based on the term of protecting environment. By a great of many tests, the antiwear capability of B-additive in the Green lubricant based oils(rapeseed oil) is studied extensively, the lubricating and antiwear theory are studied systematically. In the same time, the compatibility between Boric acid ester and other additives in rapeseed oil are analyzed. The test results show that the antiwear capability of Boric acid ester in the rapeseed oil is enhanced when the Boric acid ester and T321/T304 mixed in the rapeseed oil ; the antiwear capability of Boric acid ester in the rapeseed oil is enhanced when the Boric acid ester and ZDDP mixed in the rapeseed oil. The coordination between Boric acid ester, T203,T109 or T152 is investigated, The results show that Boric acid ester has bad compatibility with T109 to antiwear capability, Boric acid ester has synergism with T152 to antiwear capability.
