MBH reaction is the formation of a class of carbon - carbon bond, generating a number of elements of an effective functional group reaction, since the 1980s chemists have received more attention.Such reactions have a highly efficient method of synthesis of the basic features, such as the selective reaction (chemical,regional,non-enantiomorphism and enantiomorphism), atom economy, as well as the product of the mild reaction conditions with a number of further conversions Functional group, has published more than summarized the reaction in organic synthesis on the application of great prospects and potential for development.MBH in most of the reaction products of a new chiral center of the formation, that is, it existences of asymmetric induction. And just like the generation of chiral product of any reaction, asymmetric information may be affected in the MBH reaction of any one of the four components, so the activation-optically active, electrophilic reagents, catalyst and solvent. As a result, the asymmetry in response to the introduction of MBH have been caused by a growing number of chemists. In the 21st century, the chiral carriers and chiral catalysts prepared by asymmetric MBH reaction has been a growing application of chiral-separation and catalytic the chiral compounds, particularly in the separation of chiral drugs, has a very broad Applications.This paper mainly describes the reaction mechanism and types of MBH reaction, as well as the latest developments and general introduced some of the research of Spiro drug in the world. In this paper, mainly contents three parts of our works.1.A.wetried to sepatate the 3,9 - Diphenyl -2,4,8,10– tetra- oxa-spiro[5.5]undecane and 3,9– (4-aldehyde -phenyl) -2,4,8,10– tetra- oxa-spiro[5.5]undecane by HPLC. B.Successful synthesised of chiral Spiro tetrazole , it is a good chiral ligand of single crystal.2.We have systhesised a dendritic compound of triphenylene-2,6,10-trione ketal-tri-{2,2-di-[(N-methyl-N-(4-pyridinyl) amino)methyl-1,3-propanediol} base on the MBH, and determined the the activity of it.3.We have systhesised a new type of chiral stationary phase, which have good Specific rotatory power...
