This paper improved the LL680 Rapier beating mechanism. LL680 loom is the new middle rapier made in 1998. Its normal work speed is between 300r/min with 350r/min. However, in nearly the speed of 350r/min, the vibration, noise and temperature rise of the main drive mechanism has reached the national standard limit. In this paper, the high-speed rapier loom is the optimization target to adapt to new market demand. There research and analyses the cam box's vibration problems caused by high-speed. It provides a theoretical basis to improve high-speed rapier loom.To solve the vibration problem caused by high-speed, this paper, there follow these steps to improve rapier loom. The first, there analyses the structural characteristics and technological characteristics of loom, Obtaining the cam loom is the core component of the vibration source, and planning the improvement program to against the vibration of high-speed rapier loom. The second, there structure vibration test platform of cam box, to measure the vibration of measuring point. According to analyses the test data, there identify the source of the vibration of the cam box. The third, there use the "reversal method" to analyses the Beating conjugate cam mechanism, to draw the Action law of the follower of Beating movement which is the goal to optimize Beating conjugate cam mechanism. The fourth, According to conjugate characteristics, there obtain the beating come conjugate cam profile curve, and complete beating conjugate cam size and location of the radial Direction. There combine with computer-assisted simulation software ADAMS to simulate the action of Beating conjugate cam mechanism. Finally, there analyses the system compose -ed by the optimized Beating conjugate cam and Weft insertion cam's dynamic balance, Determine the conjugate cam beating the axial dimension.The improved beating mechanism meets high-speed requirements of loom's beationg process, solving the vibration problem of high-speed cam box. Adequate theoretical basis and clear optimization idea are used in subject's researching process, to provide a theoretical basis and technical support in improving high-speed rapier loom.
