In recent years,as the people's safety concerns for food and environment and the rising price of crude oil,the negative effect of organic solvents in pesticides preparation has been attached great importance,to development an easily degradable, reproducible and non-petroleum solvent as an alternative became a new topic. Biodiesel as a new green energy with renewable and environmental compatibility had potential use in pesticide preparations. In this paper, quizalofop-p-ethyl, fluazifop-butyl and clethodim was as an example, with regular solvent and biodiesel, their emulsifiable concentrate were prepared respectively. The effect of biodiesel on the herbicides efficacy and their safety to crops were studied via pot trial in greenhouse. And the influence of biodiesel on physical properties of preparation dilutions was primarily discussed.1.Used GC-2014 Gas Chromatography, the fatty acid methylester composition of biodiesels were determined. Their main components were palmitic methylated ester, methylated stearic, methylated oleate, methylated linoleate and methylated linen. Methylated linoleate were in high level with biodieselâ… andâ…¡;methylated ester and methylated oleate were in high level with biodieselâ…¢;methylated oleate and methylated linoleate were in high level with biodieselâ…£.2.The EC products prepared with different biodiesel were appearance transparent and had good storage stability at low temperature. Their performances were no obvious different compared wit the commercial products. Formulations prepared with different biodiesels had minute differents in composition and ratio of emulsifier.3. The effects of biodiesel on the herbicides efficacy were studied in greenhouse. The results indicated that the 5% quizalofop-p-ethyl EC were higher than that of control EC prepared with xylene, at the dose of 2g (a.i.)/hm2 and had no significant differences at the dose of 5 and 20g (a.i.)/hm2.The 15% fluazifop-butyl was similar with quizalofop-p-ethyl. The 12% clethodim EC were no significant differences at the dose of 6 and 18g (a.i.)/hm2, and were higher than EC prepared with xylene at the dose of 54g (a.i.) /hm2.4.Preparations with biodiesel had no side effects to the growth of soybean seedling, the inhibition rates were about 5%,had no difference with the control . It shown that the biodiesels and their preparations were safety to soybean.5. The influence of biodiesels to physical properties of dilutions was primarily discussed by measuring the effect of it on the surface tension, spreading diameter, dried duration and retention amount on weed leaf. The detailed results were as follows:The surface tension of 5% quizalofop-p-ethyl EC prepared by different biodiesels were improved compared with the commercial xylene formulations;the surface tension of 15% fluazifop-butyl EC prepared by biodieselsâ… ,â…¡a ndâ…¢were decreased compared with the commercial formulation, but improved which prepared by biodieselsâ…£;the surface tension of 12% clethodim EC by different biodiesels were all decreased. The results of spreading diameter were similar with that of the surface tension. Spreading diameters of quizalofop-p-ethyl were decreased, but fluazifop-butyl and clethodim were improved compared with the commercial formulation. The dried duration of each formulation prepared by different biodiesels were longer than the commercial formulation in paraffin, but were shorter in leaf of wheat. The retention amounts on weed leaf were all markedly enhanced. The rate of 5% quizalofop-p-ethyl EC,15% fluazifop-butyl EC and 12% clethodim EC prepared by different biodiesels were 45% to 60%,40% and 50%, respectively. Among all biodiesels, the effect of biodieselâ…£was less than others.
