| Long-distance transportation oil&gas pipelines are usually buried underground,they can unavoidably be corroded due to the soil environments around them.The pipelines which built in the 1970s and 1980s are being their evening,which is dangerous to some extent in their operation.So, residual life-span prediction is of important sense to the decision possess for operating, maintenance or replacing of pipeline with corrosion defect.The paper analyses the corrosion types,mechanisms,characteristic and factors of long-distance transportation pipeline;the basic principle and procedure of predicting the remaining life of pipeline,key points that affect the prediction,the emphasis should be laid during prediction and predicting solutions are described;the writer analyses the internal pressure along oil-pipiline,and from the explosion equation in B31G the limit size model of corrosion defects is established;According to difficult corrosion shapes,this paper gives the residul life prediction model and corrosion rate model on the analyses of electrochemistry corrosion mechanistic;combine with criteria of residual strength,corrosion defects size is checked,and corrosion residual life-span is determined finally.According to former research findings,combine with engineering practicality,residual life-span prediction software has been established with C++Builder 6.0 programming language. |
