The titanium alloy has fine performance of low density,high specific tenacity,strong thermal stability,high fatigue strength and so on.It is widely used as a ideal structure materials in industry aviation,astronaution,warships and so on.However,because of the titanium alloy's poor performance of wear resistance and high friction coefficient,its application is restricted.Accompany with the development of industry,The request.of enhances the titanium alloy's wear resistant is getting more and more Anxious.In order to satisfy the request of low density,high strength,low wear resistant material for aerospace, the national defense industry as well as the modern industry,Therefore,it is an urgent problem to improve wear resistance of titanium alloyBecause of Ti-6Al-4V's outstanding mechanics and good processing capacity,it has become the biggest and broadest titanium alloy.the application domain titanium alloy.This article utilizes ion nitriding-sulphurizing composite processing to seek one way to obtain an ideal friction performance surface.This article will begin from the titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V surface ion sulphurizing feasibility experimental study,to explore the titanium alloy ion sulphurizing's feasibility.Then optimized sulphurizing technological parameter Obtains model ion nitriding-sulphurizing composite processing through ion nitriding-sulphurizing composite processing.Afterward the microstructure,phase structure hardness gradient and tribological performances were examined by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and,hardness test and so on.The experimental result indicated that(1)From ion sulphurizing technique,we can obtain successive,even sulfide,which has the fine anti-attrition effect;(2)Under different temperature sulphurizing,the ulfurizing coating's phase structure and tribological performances are different.(3)On the surface of Ti-6Al-4V alloy formed a good anti-attrition sulfide coating,the inferior surface layer to have the high degree of hardness nitride coating and below for transitional layer through ion nitriding-sulfurizing composite treatment It is a ideal adhesive wear material surface;(4)As a result of the surface sulfide coating's good anti-attrition function,after ion nitriding-sulphurizing composite processing the the friction coefficient of titanium alloy is obviously reduced,the wear-resisting performance has been enhanced.remarkably.The specimen which was sulfurized on the temperature of 600 after nitriding has the main phase structure of layered TiS2.which have the best tribology performance.
