Metallic Ni and Ni based oxides such as Ni nanoparticles,cobalt-nickel alloys,NiO nanoparticles and nickel-ferrite spinel have found wide application in areas such as catalysts, magnetic materials and sensing materials because of their important structure and physicochemical properties. Therefore, it is scientific valuable and has important practical significance to develop a facile, controllable method to prepare this class of materials. In this work,we present a facile route for preparing metallic Ni and Ni based oxides by using a novel Ni based layered double hydroxide/carbon (NiM-LDH/C) hybrid composite precursor(M=Al,Fe,Co).The structure, morphology and properties of the obtained metal and metal oxides were investigated.1 The synthesis of serious NiM-LDH/C hybrid composite precursors and corresponding metal and metal oxides. The NiM-LDH/C composite with interwoven framework structure is assembled by the crystallization of Ni based layered double hydroxide simultaneously accompanied by the carbonization of sugar under mild hydrothermal conditions, and subsequently, the formed composite is thermally decomposed to generate highly-dispersed Ni nanoparticles by calcined in an inert atmosphere by using the in situ reduction of carbon in the composite,or to generate high surface areas nickel based metal oxides after removal of the carbon by calcined in air.2 The investigation in the morphology and structures of the NiM-LDH/C hybrid composite precursors, metal and metal oxides. The materials have been characterized by XRD,FTIR,TG-DTA,SEM, EDS,TEM,and BET.We also investigated the effect of the structure and morphology with different cation ratio, different carbon content and different calcined temperature.3 Study on catalyst property of NiAl system(Ni and NiO nanoparticles) and magnetic property of NiFe and NiCo systems(NiFe2O4,nickel-cobalt alloy). We studied on the catalyst property of obtained highly-dispersed Ni nanoparticles in the growth of CNTs.We presented a novel one-step method, which is facile and effective. The structures of the obtained CNTs have also been characterized to study the effect of the structure of CNTs with different synthesis conditions of the catalysts. The catalyst property in AP decomposition of obtained NiO nanoparticles has also been studied. We investigated the effect of the themal decomposition of AP with different synthesis condition of the catalysts. The magnetic properties of the obtained NiFe2O4 and nickel-cobalt alloy were investigated.Experiment results show that different cation ratio, different carbon content and different kind of composited sugars can greatly influence the magnetizations of the sample.Achieve the regulation of the magnetization, structures of the sample by different synthesis conditions.
