The axial thermal elongation and the radial vibration of the high-speed electric spindle thermal directly impacts the location of the cutting tool, results in processing errors, and reduces processing accuracy. How fast, accurate and easy to measure high-speed electric spindle's thermal deformation and the vibration on the research of high-speed electric spindle and dynamic characteristics of the development of intelligent power axis is of great significance.The article makes real-time measurement and compensation for high-speed electric spindle radial vibration and axial thermal elongation the main contents of the study. First of all, it analyzes the development of high-speed electric spindle and intelligent at home and abroad, then makes a detailed analysis and identification of high-speed electric spindle errors of heat and vibration errors. Based on an in-depth study of high-speed electric spindle errors of measurement, it completes the test platform structures. Using PC and USB data acquisition card,it open up data acquisition syste of high-speed electric spindle radial vibration and axial thermal elongation in the programming environment of VB6.0. Then, using high-precision eddy current displacement sensors and infrared temperature sensors, high-speed electric spindle thermal elongation radial vibration and axial temperature were carried out non-contact real-time measurement. Through analysis of high-speed electric spindle run-time no-load test curve,it comes to test electric spindle the stability time and vibration performance. Finally, it brings up several high-speed electric spindle errors compensation measures ,regulates spindle-conditioning running by the inverter control "Chuan-pu-PI7000.7R5H32 inverter control system", and achieves closed-loop control.The results show that the structure of testing system is reasonable, operation stable and reliable,meeting the real-time, dynamic testing requirements and possessing practical value on high-speed electric spindle performance testing, monitoring on-line and high-precision errors compensation research.
