| Recently, supramolecular chemistry has been expanding to supramolecular polymer chemistry. By combining polymer science, supramolecular chemistry and material science, synthesis of microstructure-controllable ladder polymer became an advanced interdisciplinary study. Chemist has paid much attention to synthesis of polymers with regular structures by kinds of supramolecular templates. In this thesis, a series of ladder polyethers were synthesized based on the theory of supramolecular self-assembling, via the"step coupling polymerization"mechanism with the help of H-bonding andπ-πinteraction. The main results are listed as follows:1. Three precursors 1,4-dibromo-2,5-bis(hexyloxy)benzene 1, 4-(2,5-dihexyl- oxyphenyl)benzoic acid 3 and 9,10-bis(p-carboxy-phenyl)anthracene 4 were synthesized and characterized.2. Five monomers 5~9 for supramolecular assembly and polymerization were first designed, synthesized and characterized. The structures of compounds 5 and 6 were determined by single-crystal X-ray analysis, many types of intermolecular O―H···O hydrogen bonds were present in the crystal structure.3. A series of ladder polyethers 10~13 were synthesized from the reaction of monomers 6~9 with dibromoethane via"step coupling polymerization"mechanism. These compounds were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, XRD. |
