This article first introduces the research significance and the domestic & foreign research condition and the trend of development of Dynamic Separator for Downhole Mud, meanwhile introduces the function of mud performance in drilling. Then, it analysis and studies the structural characteristic of existing equipment for processing ground and downhole mud, and comprehensively evaluates the feasibility that two equipment are used to separate the downhole mud. This system's important parts are the turbine group and the rotating drum, meanwhile it gives the brief introduction about the elementary knowledge of turbine motor.Through being compared with the static hydrocyclone, this article analyses and studies the unique feature of existing dynamic hydrocyclone, and comprehensively evaluates respective merit and inferiority of static hydrocyclone and dynamic hydrocyclone. It emphasizes on the theoretical analysis and the study to the dynamic cyclone's design parameter and the separation mechanism. Through calculating and analysing, it has carried on the optimal design on the ratio to length to diameter of rotating drum, the turbine group stage, bore of receiving fluid pipe, the shell nozzle diameter and so on. Finally it make use of the related knowledge of hydromechanics, the machine manufacture study, CAD and the three dimensional modeling technology and designs the dynamic separator that has good performance.
