With the characters of the thin and poor stratums of Daqing oil field, and for the purpose of offering the reliable test and logging methods to develop the thin and poor stratum of the oil field, some research work have been done in well test and logging equipment, methods, and the methods of explanation of the oil well logging.In this paper, the characters of the thin and poor stratums of the oil field is introduced; the oil well test and logging technique to the injection profile of the well in china and foreign country are introduced; several test and logging methods of the injection profile that are widely used in the oil field today and their theories and application situation are introduced, at the same time, the develop situation of the oil field at present time is analyzed, especially during the period that polymer injection well have been widely spread, many test and logging methods of the injection profile well which are being used at present time have showed some deficiency. After compared many kinds of the test and logging methods with the real test and logging data, a new test and logging method which is suitable for the thin and poor stratums of the oil field that we need exactly—the inter-flow electromagnetism flow logging method is introduced. The inter-flow electromagnetism flow meter working theories, design, structure and application situations are introduced, and at the same time, with the test and logging data, it compared with the other test and logging methods, and it could be known that the inter-flow electromagnetism flow logging method is more suitable for the thin and poor stratums of the oil field which have only small injection quantity, the measured sensitivity has been raised more than ten times, the measured precision can reach 1%, because the influence of the flow change that caused by the dirty on the inter wall of the tube have been eliminated, so the injection quantity to the thin stratums can be measured with more accuracy. The use of the inter-flow electromagnetism flow logging method will benefit the on-going development of Daqing oil field.
