Ethylene slurry polymerization technology is the main method to produce PE. It has high demands on the performances of catalyst. In the industrial applications of the catalyst, the activity of the catalyst is not as well as we ever thought and with high amount of fint. It baffled the production capacity, shop sign of PE and stability of the long-period operation.To solve the problems above, we used precipitation-dissolved method to produce a new high-performance GZ catalyst with the introduction of electronic donor in this paper. The effects of each component and its amount used in the catalyst were studied. So did the conditions during the preparation of the catalyst. We found the best condition to get the high performance catalyst. We synthesized more catalyst in a 5L container with the best conditions and studied the performances of the catalyst in a 20L reaction kettle. We found that PE got from GZ catalyst by slurry polymerization had a high bulk density, low mesh content and good particle morphology. GZ Catalyst was sensitive to hydrogen, The MI of PE could be effectively regulated by hydrogen. The performance of copolymerization using GZ withα-olefin were very well. Contrasted to the catalyst BCE and RZ of the same type, we found that GZ was much better.
