| High-speed steel is widely used in making various tools and dies, because it's excellent properties :hot hardneess , wearability and certain toughness .But it's especial properties of high-speed steel that be used as tools and dies is just be shown after heat treatment process. In order to improve the service lives of tools and dies, a detailed analysis on the chemistry composition, structure, heat process and heat treatment transformation process of high-speed steel were analyzed, and the main decisive factors to various properties is definited .The heat process for high-speed steel tools and dies is forging process, the heat treatment process include : isothermal engloberment anneal after forging, quenching and tempering after precise process.The article aim at the short working lives of W18Cr4V high-speed steel punch pin processdures and the invalidation that is due to the bending distortion of the W18Cr4V high-speed steel semicircular reamer tool in the producing process, by analyze reason that result in invalidation, and integrate the influence of the composition characteristics and heat treatment mechanism of high-speed steel, through the improve study of the heat process and heat treatment process for making the high-speed steel tools and dies ,to improve the service lives of tools and dies. |
