The developing trend of PCB towards high-density, thin wire, the narrow spacing of the development makes PCB drilling become smaller and smaller and requires a higher precision and efficiency. The static and dynamic properties of the CNC drilling machine feeding system is one of the main factors that affect the precision. Improving the static and dynamic properties of this machine is of great significance to its processing capacity. This paper makes a study on the static and dynamic properties of feeding system with the use of two-axis PCB CNC drilling machine in a company.First, the study makes a research on the the components of feeding system with high-speed and high-precision as well as the operating characteristics of all parts and then build a reasonable solid model and a mathematical model of dynamics in the feeding system .In the process of building the mathematical model, the impact of these factors such as the plate deformation and the errors in the installation of guide rails will be well reflected in the model through the finite element technique.Second, study on the static and dynamic characteristics of the feeding system in the case of the ball screw in the cases of the "fixed - support" and "fixed - fixed", and find that the first program will set up resonance in the basic frequency and the dynamic response is poor. However, the second program is better than the first one; Further more, the study will get the stiffness of plate and the deflection curve of the installation error and the screw as well as the impact of deflection on the system performance; The study will also probe into a weak link in the system through the sensitivity analysis and dynamic simulation analysis, and study the improvement direction of the static and dynamic characteristics of the system as well as the corresponding parameters.Finally, the study will make structural topology optimization plate design on the weak links, and the optimizing results will be used in the solid re-modeling. And the simulation analysis of dynamic characteristics of the system will be made to get the improvement on the static and dynamic characteristics of the system after the system has been optimized, which proves the practicality of this paper, and will play a role in the theoretical guide.
