The Phthalocyanine (Pc) Compounds, especially the unsymmetrical phthalocyanines have potential application in many areas due to their distinctive physical and chemical properties. But the methods of synthesizing unsymmetrical phthalocyanine are all complex, it`s yields are low and they are difficult to separate and purify, thereby the applications are limited. The key point of the paper is to synthesize a new unsymmetrical phthalocyanine through a simple method, and gain the point of simple separation and purification . We hope to provide a new method of synthesizing for phthalocyanins. The main points are:1. Based on the structure characteristics of phthalocyanine compound, we summarize the phthalocyanine (Pc) compounds completely, substituted phthalocyanine, compound phthalocyanine. As well as the phthalocyanine`s importance, application foreground and phthalocyanine's new progress.2. Optimizing the experimental conditions, we synthesized and characterized nickel 9, 16, 23-tert-(2-isopropyl-5-mehtyphenoxy)-2-(2-isopropylphenoxy) phthalocyanine.3. According to the phenomenon of the experiment and the results of the characterization, we could presume the possible reaction mechanism;4. Compared symmetrical phthalocyanine with unsymmetrical phthalocyanine, and analysis the changes of UV-Vis absorption sprectrums, we surmise the reason;5. Compared symmetrical phthalocyanine with unsymmetrical phthalocyanine, and analysis the changes of cyclic votammograms, we surmise the reason.
