The paper ascertains two dominating pollution indicater namely permanganate index and ammonia nitrogen by analyzing water quality condition and pollution source of mainstream in Huaihe River.On the basis of hydrodynamics characteristic of natural riverway as well as the pollution transportation character,2-D hydrodynamic model and 2-D advective-diffusion water quality model are established, Explicit use of alternating direction implicit method (ADI) method was used to model equations and discrete method for solving chase.In the process of calculation,combined with an advanced Object-Oriented procedure MATLAB, which has powerful numerical calculation function,the paper works out a hydrody- namic and water quality model procedure for a reach from Lu Taizi to Tian Jiaan in Huaihe River. Analog proven value and actual value of the error can be controlled within the scope of the project permit.Finally the model system is applied water quality simulation of the target main sections in different hydraulic conditons. The results show that the prediction results of water quality in line with the actual situation and changes in water quality into line with the mechanism of transfer of pollutants. |
