Quercetin belongs to an extensive class of polyphenolic flavonoid compounds, frequently occurs as glycoside. Quercetin and its derivatives actions include anti-arrhythmia, anti-blood platelet, antioxidant, anti-cancer agent, and expand blood vessel had been reported. Quercetin and its derivatives had been attention in biological value recently.28 Quercetin derivatives were successfully synthesized, including 23 new compounds. Their structures were fully characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and MS spectroscopies. Dissertation also successfully determine superoxide anion free radical action to quercetin derivatives and its complexs. The main results are as follows:1. The recent research progress of quercetin derivatives receptors, including design, chemical synthesis and their applications in the fields of pharmacological activities, was briefly reviewed. For quercetin and its derivatives have well identity, it is an important practical value on the design and synthesis.2. 5 compounds involving 3 un-reported quercetin derivatives were successfully synthesized to use rutin and tri-(-O-hydroxyethyl)rutin as raw material. Their structures were fully characterized by IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and so on.3. The first example of 3′,4′,7-tri-(-O-hydroxyethyl)quercetin as the raw material, 10 new quercetin derivatives(L-1~L-10) were successfully synthesized via the etherificaion reaction.4. Design, synthesis 13 quercetin and its derivative-metal complexes, 10 complexes is un-reported. Find to synthesize the quercetin derivative-metal complexes, besides the temperature of reaction system and the reaction time, the pH value of reation solution was key fator for the form of coordination complexs. The inhibitory effect of quercetin derivative and its complexes on superoxide anion free radical, was tested by pyrogallol auto-oxidation system, showing the good cooperative action between quercetin derivatives and trace metal elements. The results showed good antioxidant value.
