Analysis On The Types And Stability Of Industrial Ecosystems (IES)

Our country is now in a key developing period while facing various huge tasks,such as optimizing economic structure of our country,using resources reasonably,and protecting our environment and so on.The industrialization course is far from over and we need much more natural resources to develop,however,the problem between environment and development has already been rather severe.It is the only way for us to build good industrial ecosystems(IES) for the sake of sustainable development.We have built all types of industrial demonstration parks as other counties,which lead to circular use of byproducts,cutting resources and energy consumption as well as environmental burden.This is a good phenomenon,while many problems occurred during the course of building,construction and running of IES.These problems may affect further development and even cause the whole IES to collapse if not much importance attached.Thus,it is our ultimately goal to build long steady running IES.Many scholars have done research on the various influential factors(governmental support,the management levels etc.) on the stability of IES.Nevertheless,there seems none mentioned whether the types of IES have something to do with its stability.The research content is summarized as the following parts:Firstly,the research status quo in and abroad is given from perspectives of the concepts, the influential factors,steady performance of the of IES and the importance of analysis on the types and stability of lES;Secondly,the foundation theories on ecology,industrial ecology,and ecological economics are given,meanwhile the concepts boundaries on stability,the stability of ecosystems,and the stability of IES are proposed;Thirdly,the classification of IES is attempted to give as combing-IES,core-IES,and single-IES.And then their statistics are analyzed based on three representative cases;Fourthly,analysis on the correlation ships of types of IES and their stabilities are given from spatial layout,"key species" firm,the complexity of waste utilization network and information platform management;Fifthly,suggestions for our government to create and manage IES are proposed based on the above analysis.
