Based on the superfine powder at different times,different friction conditions and different loads were studied in order to sesearch its effect,delivering the different repair additives to the wear contact interface with the base oil as the carrier.Through analysis of morphology,as well as the wear surface of the EDX spectrum analysis,research and analysis the self-repairing mechanism.Mainly draw the following conclusions.(1)With the time increase in friction and wear,the self-repairing film at the worn surface of the metal may formed more uniform and in good condition.Adding the superfine powder into lubricant,the metal surface formed self-repairing protective film After friction and wear,the surfaces were relatively smooth,it can avoid direct contact with metal surfaces,effectively reduced the wearing between the metal.(2)As for the superfine powder,in the load of 300N,the friction energy is not sufficient to form an effective self-repairing film on the metal surface.In the load of greater than 600N,the friction can be increased to form a more complete and smooth self-repairing protective film,effectively reduced the wear of the metal.(3)Superfine powder as the lubricant additive in the process of friction and wear can automatically formed a protective film,thereby repaired the wear surface of the friction pair,compensated part of the sample weight loss.The self-repairing film at the surface of the wear sample contained characteristics element of additive powders, additive powder directly involved in the formation of self-repairing film.(4)Superfine powder as a lubricant additive could significantly reduce the friction coefficient of the friction pair.At the same time it can reduce the wear loss of the friction pair.(5)The film-forming mechanism mainly described as follows:â‘ When superfine powder suspended in the lubricant and the micro-bulge of friction pair contacted,the additive powder particles would be sheared,extrusioned and grinded by the relative movement of micro-bulge of friction pair,with producing additive powder in smaller size.At the same time,micro-bulge of friction pair mutual moved,with the occurrence of adhesion and shearing,and producing activate surface of gridings and surface of matrix.â‘¡Superficial active particles and surface of matrix generated adsorption effect,a number of powder particles adsorbed on the surface of the surface of matrix,at the same time,part of the powder particles with active surface and the grindings with the same activity adsorpted each other,depositing in the pits of friction pair or suspending in the lubricating oil,as well as part of powder particles with larger size depositing on the pits of friction pair all the same.â‘¢With the mechanical action of friction and chemical friction,the particles adsorptioned on the surface and deposited on the pits of friction pair occurred chemical friction effect,generated self-repairing film in the local area.â‘£With the continue mechanical action of friction and chemical friction mechanical,the additive powder to continue to spread in the surface of friction pair, until the self-repaiing film covered surface of friction pair,then the friction and wear and theself-repairing film achieved dynamic balance. |
