Environmental labelling as a new type of environmental management tools and market-based instruments, has played an increasingly important role in the field of environmental protection all over the world. Although China's environmental labeling system for the establishment of 16 years, has achieved significant results, the degree of law has yet to be improved. Academia, Theoretical Study of environmental labeling in the legal system is inadequate, especially since 2003, related to the lack of research more, This worldwide environmental labelling and the rapid development and increasing green barriers run counter is inaccordance.System theory is a guide, it is necessary to strengthen the environmental labelling's theory study in the legal system . In this paper, from a legal point of view seeks to deepen and extend the theoretical study of the environmental labelling for China's environmental labeling system, in-depth development and the promotion of sustainable consumption to provide a valuable reference.Based on environmental ethics, environmental economics and the application of jurisprudence, both at home and abroad in the analysis summary of the advantages and disadvantages of environmental labelling system and the successful experience of gains and losses on the basis of the proposed reform of the management of China's environmental label institutions, and gradually to the current environment of official certification logo transition to a market-oriented certification, establish and improve mechanisms for public participation, further development of "environmental labelling law", marks the relevant legislation to improve the environment.
