| Steel/aluminum metal-laminate material combined mechanical properties of steel with corrosion resistant, high electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity of aluminum and aluminum alloys, it has been widely used in the industry and daily life. Roll bonding is one of the major and the most intellectual production method commonly used in the manufacture of metal laminates, however, the rolling process and diffusion annealing treatment impact bonding strength and interface. In this paper, steel/aluminum metal-laminate material was produced by roll bonding ,and meanwhile the distribution of thickness, bonding strength and interface of this material had been studied by mean of metallurgical microscope, scanning electron microscope and bending test. It has been shown the rolling reduction of the aluminum layer increased while the steel layer decreased with preheating temperature increasing, this leaded to the difference of reduction between aluminum and steel layer increasing. The bending numbers of the steel/aluminum metal-laminate materials increased when preheating temperature blow 400℃,whereas decreased after that, the bonding strength of the laminates was up to a maximum value at the preheating temperature of 400℃. The rolling reductions of both layers increased in direct proportion with the total reduction increasing, and the difference between them gradually diminished and even towered to a leveling. The numbers of bending and the bond strength increased with increasing the total rolling reduction, which increased slowly from 20% to 30% and rapidly beyond 30%.In this paper, it studied on effects of diffusion annealing treatment and three kinds of aluminum alloys(1050,4045and 7075aluminum alloy) on bonding strength and interface of steel/aluminum metal-laminate material. It has been shown reasonable diffusion annealing treatment improved the bonding strength of laminates, the maximum bonding strength was obtained and the bending number was up to 11 times after diffusion annealing treatment at 600℃for 1h.But 1050 aluminum's laminates was easier to form intermetallic compounds and holes in interface. Bonding strength of 4045 aluminum alloy's laminates and 7072 aluminum alloy's laminates increased obviously and no intermetallic compounds and holes after diffusion annealing treatment, aluminum alloy containing Si or Zn hindered on the formation of intermetallic compounds and holes of interface of steel/aluminum metal-laminate material. |
