| Basalt Fiber Reinforced Polymer(BFRP)was used to reinforced Structural Glulam. The BFRP/glulam composites overcome the intrinsic limitation of wood, and improve the value of wood. This technology realize utilize of inferior timber, which greatly develop the applications in building field, including civil domicile, business building and pavement, bridge and so on.This paper including two aspects research:Orthogonal Experimental Method is adopted to study the effect of pressure, pressing time and glue spread on bond performance of Structural Glulam. The result indicate that pressure is the most influential factor on the bonding property of Structural Glulam,The dry shear strength could reach the requirement of ASTM905;the wet shear strength couldn't reach that of ASTM905,and the delamination rate of Structural Glulam conducted by AC280 standards is failed to reach the standard requirement. But the delamination rate of Structural Glulam conducted by JAS1152 standards could reach the standard requirement. The optimum technique was validated in terms of optimum technique from dry shear strength.Based on one component Polyurethane adhesive,Orthogonal Experimental Method is adopted to study the effect of pressure, pressing time and glue spread on bond performance of BFRP/glulam composite. The result indicate that pressing time is the most influential factor on the bonding property of BFRP/glulam composite,The dry shear strength could reach the requirement of ASTM905;the wet shear strength couldn't reach that of ASTM905,and the delamination rate of BFRP/glulam composite conducted by different standards are failed to reach the requirement of different standards respectively. Additionally, the optimum technique was validated in terms of optimum technique from dry shear strength.Average shear strength and delamination rate of BFRP/glulam composite treated by 180 grits sandpaper are better than that treated by 360 grits sandpaper in shear and delamination test. The bonding mechanisms of BFRP/glulam composite and structural glulam are analyzed by means of Scanning Electron Microscope to learn penetrability property of adhesives on wood and BFRP surfaces, and explanation is given in terms of mechanic combination theory and chemical bond theory. |
