Conventional heat treatment process is a key to ensure the quality of a thin-film circular saw, which often use method of pressurized and oil quenching, Not only to ensure the hardness of the substrate, but also to ensure toughness and roughness. However, in quenching process, the oil contact with the substrate directly, which will pollute the environment of workshop and operator's health caused by the waste gas.In this study, based on the idea of green treatment, it brings forward the technology of non-contact quenching. Also it tries to introduce a quenching mold with, which will remove the heat of saw blade indirectly by rapid flow of water, in order to avoid the specimen contacting with the media directly to reduce pollution. The focus of this study lies in the design of inside cooling water. According to heat transfer and finite element theory, it will design the structure of mold preliminary, then do the experiments to test the hardness of the substrate and the mechanical properties,in order to verify the feasibility of the structure.In this study, trying to break the past concept of direct-contact quench , it is an innovative in the field of heat treatment. And the design and manufacture of laboratory mold will do basic work for further study,and will provide guidance for the future production and application.
