Construction Of Eco-Industrial Chains In Wenzhou Binhai Industrial Park

The development of industrial parks improves regional economy, however, it also brings the serious problems to the resource and environment. The appearance of eco-industrial parks (EIP) and their practices at home and abroad provide the beneficial model for construction and sustainable development of industrial parks in china. The EIP set up the circular economic industrial systems of 'Producer-Consumers -Decomposer' by simulating the natural ecosystem, which could maximize use efficiency of resource and energy and minimize production of waste. Therefore, the layout and construction of EIP have the profound meaning to both of region environment improvement and sustainable development of industrial economy. The Binhai industrial park in Wenzhou as a case was studied with the construction of eco-induntrial chain in this thesis.The thesis summarized the research progress of theories and practice on eco-induntrial chains construction. The principle, level and the technique of eco-induntrial chains were dicussed. Based on predecessor's achievement and status quo and development orientation of Binhai industrial park, eco-chains were designed, in which include the eco-industrial chains of synthetic leather industry at enterprise level, eco-industrial chains among companies of synthetic leather, equipment production, biopharmaceuticals industry etc., and also whole industry park. The EIP designed make most original waste into resource of downriver workshop or enterprise or other industry. The environmental and economic benefits of eco-induntrial chain were also been analyzed.
