As an advanced plastic forming technology,internal high-pressure forming has been widely used in foreign companies and scientific research institutions to manufacture lightweight components .Equal channel angular pressing(ECAP),as an important way to gain ultra-fine grain material ,has also developed rapidly. But they have comparatively loggle behind in china because the vast investment is required, and little research has been carried out to the special equipment for these two technologies. So,in order to have a better understanding of and to promote these two technologies.The purpose of this paper is to do a research about IHP forming and ECAP, and then to design a system to control them.Firstly,after consulting the structure and deficiency of YH39-1000 hydraulic press and ECAP equipment that we used in experiment,then consulting the numerous related technologies and reference materials at home and abroad,the application and development trend of these two technologies are summarized in this paper.Secondly,by introducing the principle and composition of the equipment for these two technologies,we list the functions that this equipment should have .Then,a hydraulic system principle will be design which is simple and practical.With regards to the most important circuit in hydraulic system-synchronous circuit of left and right hydraulic actuating, we achieve these functions by the use of by the use of proportional flow control valve. In the end ,taking T-shape tube, a typical IHP forming component, for example, this paper conducts an analysis of the process of this equipment in detail.Besides,this thesis also analyzes the computer monitoring and management system applied in the current industrial production and aims at these two technologies, proposes two levels of DCS design pattern based on the PLC, which uses PC on the upper computer and PLC on the lower computer to compose an upper-lower control system.On the part of hardware, kingview is used as upper computer and FX-2N-128MR PLC (programmable logic controller) as lower computer. The controlling software for the equipment of dual purpose is programmed on the SFC (Sequence Function Chart) and we design the man-machine conversation control interfaces by Kingview,and realize the automation of the forming process.At last,by using elctron and hydraulic simulation software Automation Studio,we simulate the design that we done,in order to validate the feasible of the control system .In the paper,by using the technique of mechanic,elctron and hydraulic control , a control system for an equipment of dual purpose for Internal high-pressure forming(IHF) and Equal channel angular processing(ECAP) is finished based on this theory.The method will exert great signification on the practical design.It will enhance the development of special equipment for these two technologies.
