Supported by the Olympic Games science and technology special sub topic project, based of the first generation of volleyball device which can buckle and serve volleyball, the paper improves the machine and analyses how to increase the speed of volleyball.First, the paper makes a research on the present state of the national and international volleyball service machine and makes the principle of ball servicing clear. Second, the paper which makes the wheeling of friction for example puts forward a belt transmission mechanism instead of the wheeling type of friction, according to the property of speeding and rotating. The new machine prolonged force before the ball is served and makes the motion more stable. Last, the paper makes a mechanical analysis of belt transmission and the emphasis is the process of serving volleyball that the ball enters in the belt to serve the ball. The paper simulates the process by COSMOSMotion and makes a conclusion the motion property of volleyball.Finally, the paper summarizes the differences between the belt transmission ball serving machine and the wheeling type of friction machine, improving the project of the serving machine.
