The red phosphor CaTiO3 doped with Pr have attracted much attention since they show excellence properties,such as ideal color purity,excellent chemical stability, great weathering ability and high quantum efficiency.Aims at controllable preparation technology,characterization technology,and biomarker technology og functional lanthanide fluorescence nanoparticles,based on developments of lanthanide luminescent material.This paper used solvent-thermal method,and systematically investigated the controlled synthesis and optical properties of CaTiO3:Pr.It shows potential application in luminescence labels.Calcium titanate powder was prepared with a one step hydrothermal method,and well crystallized powders with very uniform cubes shape and an average particle size of about 1μm are obtained.The effects of reaction conditions,such as reaction temperatures,time on the morphology of the product were studied in details.Well crystallized CaTiO3 powders with very uniform cubes shape and an average particle size of about 1μm are obtained at an optimal conditions of 200℃,6h and 2.0mol/L for reaction temperature,time and the original concentration of NaOH.We also studied on the addition of different organic dispersing reagents such as alcohols,organic acids, and this established the foundation for decresed size fatherly.To enhance the fluorescence and phosphorescence intensities of CaTiO3:Pr makes it applys in luminescence labels betterly,so we studied a series of conditions on the luminescence.The results show that:the luminescence of the powder with addition of Al3+ and sintered at certain temperature is even betteran than the podwer prepared bysolid-state method.After sintered,it also has.excellent dispersibility and nearly no change in particle size.Uniform and sphere nanoparticles of CaTiO3:Pr has been successfully synthesis by hydrothermal based on glucose.We studied a series of conditions on the morphology and luminescence of the product,and the results show that the optimal conditions are 200℃,6h and 2.0mol/L,2mL 0.005mol/L for reaction temperature, time and the original concentration of NaOH,the amount of the glucose.And we can get the nanophosphor product when sintered at at low temperature which does not change the morphology,and the stability in water is well.It shows potential application in luminescence labels.
