In this thesis, the author's aim at search and resolve the oxidation product of partial oxidation of methane in sulphuric acid.The current processes of partial oxidation of methane to methanol in oleum use I2 as catalysts are the higher conversation and yield. However, some problems were shown in liquid phase systems: Hydrolysis reaction will lead to enormous volumes of unavailability dilute sulphuric corrosion the equipment. Furthermore, the cauterization of equipments by the oleum and recycle process of abundant sulfuric acid will be the encounter for industrialization. According to that, the dissertation is based on the how to convert intermediate product which the processes of partial oxidation of methane, exploited new kinds of methods to resolve.The oxidation product distilled to dimethyl sulfate(DMS) then thermal decomp- osited in autoclave was studied. It is found that the DMS is transformed into SO3 and dimethyl ether(DME),this chemical reaction is deemed to reversible reaction. The effect of decomposition temperature, reaction pressure and the CH4 treatment with DMS on the conversion were investigated. Results shows that the optimum temperature can be obtained at 210℃; Add the N2 to the decomposition system is contribute to the conversion of DMS. The conversion of the DMS increased with the elevated temperature,but the selectivity decreased gradually. The DMS conversion of 89% can be obtained when the reaction temperature 220℃, pressure of CH4 2.0MPa, concentration of I2 0.099mol/L. And the conversion increased with the increase of the stirring rate, but the conversion kept constant when the stirring rate increased to a certain rate.Secondly,indor to reduce the harm of DMS distilled form vitriol,the methyl sulfate treatment with hydrochloric acid were also investigated. The final product was confirmed to methane chloride.The experimental results indicated that best catalyst is ZnCl2, The methylsulfate conversion of 40% and selectivity of 85% can be obtained when the katalyst exist. Finally, method of CODcr mensurate content of methylsulfate in oleum were discussed.The intra-laboratory accuracy and reproducibility is come up to our expectations.
