| Fluidization of coarse cohesive particles is one of the typical thesis in Gas-solid two-phase flow, but in the actually industry production agglomeration and shut-down often happen. The coarse cohesive particles are carefully studied to establish the general law of fluidization and agglomeration of coarse cohesive particles as well as the method for early monitor of agglomeration.2D and 3D experiment systems are established, and study of both experiment and theory is made. Conclusions are as follows:The law of agglomeration of coarse cohesive particles is studied. The general way of agglomeration of coarse cohesive particles is got- the whole term can be divided to two different parts: the first part when the agglomeration nuclear forms and grows, and the agglomeration velocity is small, and the second part when the huge agglomeration nuclear turn to bridge and shut-down happens with great velocity. Agglomeration is very likely to happen in the area where the gas velocity is slow, such as the area near the wall. The law of fluidization of coarse cohesive particles is also studied. The more particles, the greater the pressure drop while the critical velocity remains the same. In addition, the simulation of the coarse particles demonstrates that these software could simulation the fluidization well.To establish a better method for early agglomeration of coarse cohesive particles, both linear and non-linear methods are invested, and the results demonstrate: compared to the normal method-mean pressure and pressure deviation, S function that is based on chaotic theory could monitor the agglomeration much earlier, and could also demonstrates the velocity of agglomeration thus could be applied to the early monitor of agglomeration of coarse cohesive particles. |
