Based on Al2O3 ceramics, metallization of Cu and Mo-Mn systems were conducted by microwave process, in which several techniques were related including selective heating at the interfaces and prevent from oxiding using graphite powder. XRD, SEM and EDX were used for analysises of microstructure and components. For both copper powder and Mo-Mn metallization system, effects of sintering process ,the components ,content of reactive bonds and protection measures had been investigated. In the copper powder metallization system ,the graphite powder and the carbide (SiC) matches each other for the primitive material with the metal powder(Cu powder). Through these , different metallization prescriptions have been designed. From the result, the prescription which contained 10wt% C achieved the best metallization effect. The SiC can enhance the mechanical interlocking between metal film and the basic. In the Mo-Mn metallization system , the prescription which contained 60wt% sintered in the buried C powder,75wt% Mo sintered in oxidizing atmosphere achieved good metallization effect. The reactive bonded mechanism was discussed here: The reactive bonded mechanism on Cu powder metallization is the diffusion of Cu. And adding too much C powder can decrease the wettability. The metallization on Mo-Mn metallization is based on migration of glassy phase and molten metal .
