Nano-technology, which is a new technique in 80's, 20 centuries, will be one of the most important contents of technological industrical revolution in 21 centuriy.The important index and key factor of nano-composites'performance are the size distribution and the uniformity of filling particles .It is evident that the first problem needs to be solved is how to detect and evaluate the dispersion effect and the properties of nano-composites'filling particles.The basic algorithm of nano-composites image preprocessing is proposed. The algorithm includes low contrast gray image enhancement, image binary, morphological operation and image post-processing. The result shows that processed images can meet the requirement.The mathematical model is established. This mathematical model is on the size distribution of filling particles in polymer nano-composites and bases on fractals theory.The method reduces the influence that the TEM image of polymer nano-composites is not big enough in a statistical sense. The method reduces the influence of the human intervention in selecting non-scaling region. The mathematical model is established. The method reduced the influence of the human intervention in selecting non-scaling region.The quantitative evaluation system is established. Applied the quantitative evaluation system in polymer-nano-particle composites, the results showed the system is high performance.
