Many cities are constructing artificial landscape lakes to beautify and improve the city's ecological environment and provide the dwellers a comfortable life space,but because small water collection area, low water capacity and mild water exchange adjust ability of artificial lakes; also artificial lakes have a close relationship with ambience, it has a high risk of pollution; the phenomenon of weakness zoology environment and water body eutrophication is common.The lake was constructed at Dec.2005 and it contents two lakes, which named Xuezi Lake and Shiji Lake,and the flood discharge structure. The lakes are connected in series,the total effective area of the water is 3.98*104m2,the total cubage is 4.84*105m3,and the average water depth is 1.71m.The lake which is a medium-sized landscape lake is a important part of the campus landscape,and it helps to regulate the climate and improve the ecological and living environment.Take the artificial lake in a new campus as an example, this paper is studied on the character of the rainfall rainoff and the impact of rainoff to the water quality of the lake, analyzing the impact of internal pollution to the water quality of the lake,and at the end of the paper putting forward some control methods of the water pollution.The study provides some advises for better constuction and management for the artificial lakes.Through this paper we can get some conclusions as follows;①The chemical analysis on rainfall rainoff of different underlying surfaces (roof,road and lawn) at Chongqing university Huxi distrit and the B distrit indicates that at the early time of the rain the rainoff pollution is very serious,different surfaces have different pollutant concentrations and the same surface made of different materials also have different pollutant concentrations.The total regulation is road runoff has the most serious concentration,next is malthoid roof runoff and lawn runoff ,last is pitched tile roof runoff.②The correlation analysis indicates that the correlation between CODCr,TN,TP concentration and SS content is linear correlation.③Through estimating the pollution load of rainfall rainoff in one year, the pollution load of lawn runoff in one year is far lower than the road runoff,but the impact on the water quality can't be neglected.④The analysis on the changes of the water quality before ,in and after the rain indicates that the N and P nutrition which is contained in the rain and the rainoff is one of the main pollution sources to the lake.⑤The simulation experiment of sediment releasing indicates that when the pollutions outside the lake are controlled, the sediments become the most important pollution.⑥The paper puts forward some control methods of the water pollution about external source pollution control and internal pollution control.The methods include: using vegetation control, biological purifying ditch and artificial wetland to control the rainfall rainoff pollution,using bottom aeration, planting aquatic macrophyte, stocking some different species and quantities of fishes to control the internal pollution.
