Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is one of the Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques which has been the most fastest growing, most successful and commercialization. SLS has attracted extensive attention in the modern manufacturing increasingly due to its extensive selection range of powder materials, wide applicability and directly sintered parts. warp distortion phenomenon is always a problem of SLS process, it has the biggest impact on precision of molding and causes big errors in shape and position ,and even lead to processing impossible. In order to enhance the forming precision, warp distortion inhibition is researched and studied in the thesis.The topic " warp distortion inhibition research" is based on the new technology application in the new process, using the method of experimental and theoretical analysis, researched the restraint of warp distortion, raised component of forming accuracy. After seriously study and research on the predecessors work, combined with a series of experiments, using orthogonal experimental method to design the tests of four factors, three levels. According to analysis of variance, obtained the optimum parameters and influence law of parameters about PS materials. Then combined with experimental experience to come up with a reasonable solution.Temperature controlling and adding technologic support have become the key technology to inhibit warp distortion, appropriate temperature field can lead to the temperature gradient of layer more rationally, eliminate the thermal stress, uniform transition of temperature in preheating and processing temperature also can solve the problem of warping. Adding technologic support assures the precision in manufacturing the complex component and that warp distortion can also control within reasonable limits. Then, through the experiments in forming precision and correction factor adjustment, we defined the optimal and default parameters in the new processing software, ultimately, achieving processing automation.
