The pretreatment and dyeing of woven cotton fabric are separately performed in two-bath process. This processing method has such disadvantages as long time, complex operation, intensive of labor, high water consumption and heavy pollution. Therefore it is a important topic for dyeing and finishing workers to simplify the pretreatment and dyeing of woven cotton fabric. In this work, one-bath scouring, bleaching and reactive dyeing procedure of woven cotton fabric was discussed. The appropriate reactive dyes were determined. The influence of technology parameters (temperature, pH, alkalis, hydrogen peroxide, liquor ratio, fixing agent, scouring and dyeing auxiliaries, etc.) on the exhaustion percent of dyes as well as the capillary effect, tearing strength and rubbing fastness of dyed fabric was investigated. And finally, one-bath processing parameters were given.One-bath scouring, bleaching and reactive dyeing process showed such advantages as short time, high production efficiency, reduced energy consumption, relatively low water consumption and reduced sewage emission, and the quality of dyed fabric reached to the level of two-bath process though it had slightly the low exhaustion degree of dyes.
